시멘트·제철·화학 산업의 핵심 원료로 사용되며, 최근 건설·철강 수요 확대와 환경 규제 강화에 따라 시장 수요가 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다. 특히 플라스틱·종이 산업에서 고부가가치 제품인 초미립자 탄산칼슘(PCC) 활용이 늘어나며 산업적 가치가 더욱 주목받고 있습니다.
